Charlie Brown Superstar (Brett Fuller) is a DJ, producer, remixer, and artist from Huntington, WV, fresh off road with Tyler Childers and The Foodstamps for the 2024 Mule Pull tour. Brett co-produced and remixed “Joyful Noise,” the final installment of Tyler Childers’ three-part album, “Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven?” (RCA Records), which debuted at number 8 on Billboard 200. 

As Childers’ tour DJ, Brett concentrates on what he calls Country and Western and Beats, which combines traditional country and western music with contemporary sounds and aesthetics—a unique process that inspired the production of “Joyful Noise.” 

During his 30-year career, Charlie Brown Superstar has played hundreds of venues nationally and internationally. He is celebrated as veteran of the West Virginia DJ scene, known for playing and producing a wide range of music with a focus on Nu Disco and house at clubs such as Gumby’s, Gyrationz, and the V Club (now known as The LOUD) since the mid-90s. 

Charlie Brown Superstar has released music with labels across the world, including Candy Beach Records in Spain, Thunder Jam Records in Israel, and Sound Exhibitions Records and Boutade Musique, both out of Italy, as well as American labels, Bent Ant, Fresh Farm Records, and Exclaim Records. Brett’s songs have charted on all three major DJ music sites: Traxsource, Beatport, and Juno Download. His track “Never Gonna Stop” with Alpaca Edits (England) spent weeks at #2 on Traxsource Lounge/Chill Out chart. Several of his songs have also been included on the Traxsource “Essential List.” In addition to his solo work, in the early 2000s, Brett also released 2 full-length records and toured with the band Hyatari, and was also a touring member of the 90s band Chum.
